9. If you get a Blue Screen of Death or B S O D when booting Windows X P try running check disk from the recovery console. Sometimes this can get you back into windows.

10. If you notice that your computer is operating slow you can try to De frag your hard drive. This will sometimes make your computer operate faster. Also you can try using the System Configuration Utility to disable start up programs and see if this fixes your problem.

11. If you have problems with windows then sometimes you can run System Restore to restore your computer to a time when your computer did not have any problems.

I bought this after reading the mixed reviews here on Amazon.com. The bottom line is that I'm still using the device for the Mac platform, how do I program does not exceed glitchiness find.

The product has not been easy to install. My first entry) registration (from my box was sealed with a response that meets this product already registered. Who had a few calls for a new registration code unused resolved.

My biggest problemwith this product occurs when you try to clean up the data acquired. The program will fill in the appropriate fields with the values derived from the scan. Naturally, we expect a job cleaning in fixing typographical errors or to move data from one field to another. But routinely, I have about thirty seconds in my changes if the program returns Mysterious acquired data values wrong, I just cleaned! How aggravating. To compensate for this, now I'm waitingat least thirty seconds after each scan, so that the program has the ability to process it, what it covers. At first I thought this might be my fault processor computers. But the program can enter the data acquired in the field almost immediately after the scan. And 'only about thirty seconds later, while I was among my edits me is that re-fill the boxes with the original and sometimes badly acquired values.

I bought CardScan for Mac Read "MAC". But the serial number of the software required for installation has not worked. I discovered from Tech support rep CardScan does not work b / c "This is a serial number of your PC. I called Wednesday, but said that their offices were closed for a winter storm. Thursday is so I called again, and the agent said it was ordered, and he did not know why I have not received yet. He said he tried to contact my local distribution point to find out what is going on and said he would call me back the next day(today). I am extremely pleased that I can not get satisfaction, a working group !!!!!!! CardScan This is outrageous, and there is no way for a technology company to run. Do not waste your time and money!

This would be a great product, except …
First I would like the compact size. E 'small enough and sturdy enough to fit in a briefcase. Profit for the type of person is always the collection of business cards. E 'USB A on both sides of the USB cable, so you can have yet another cable to carry all the time.

I use my small compact card scanner in our dental office to scan insurance cards and the like. This scanner seemed to be the right combination of features and price for me to go ahead and order it has. I am very sorry that I did, because it certainly does not meet my expectations.

First the good things: The scanner is small, in every case, but does not feel weak. It 'hard enough to stay in place on the desk. Obviously does not feel cheap or nothing. It 'alsoits power from USB, so no separate power adapter.

Well, all the rest: the scanner to the computer and connected with a non-standard USB type A connectors on both ends is. This may mean, I do not share a cable with a different device and simply plug the scanner into what lies cables on my desk. If you do not have space on the scanner to make full size connector-B, could use mini-B connector, which is a standard for more than five years.

Packagingis really in bad taste. There are a couple of folding cartons in which it is intended to support the disk with the software, but it seems that was done by hand, and the case slip through anyway. There are some leaves in the box, obviously copied by hand. This is a first impression of the product and not entirely Scream "quality".

We were scanning business insurance, which are generally the same size as a credit card. High Expectations Lead to Big Letdown – Richard Bird – New York, NY
I had a Fujitsu ScanSnap 510 for more than a year. Scanner Neat has my attention for its aesthetic design (I am a product designer) and its software better. So if I put on my S510 with my secretary for storing work files, I jumped.

I must say, I was incredibly disappointed again. There is a huge gap between the promise and the presentation of this product compared to its ease of use and value.

No matter what the settings, the scans arepainfully slow, even when the color and OCR are off (BW-image-setting only).

The software application that comes with the scanner is really only of value if you OCR every single document that you scan. If you do, the wait is even more surprising. Seems minutes * for each page .* multipage document? Forget about it.

Paper Source is miserable. Even one would oscillate and sheets of plain letter to distort during the scanning process. For some reason, there is aToo much driving in the width of the feed and it seems that the feed rollers are at the center not only increases the instability in the document feeder.

Now I miss my S510, the speed of light and put the scanner Neat shame at all points mentioned above.

Conclusion: Great design, great promise and great disappointment. I can not find anything good to say have. I justify 45 days of daily use and in fact with my purchase. Not good.

I wish that the poor an overview of the scanner have already become familiar. But the version of Windows has been pretty good reviews, so I thought I'd give it a try.

The scanner runs quite well on text documents easier. But if the surface is glossy paper (as in all revenue Amazon.com) scan of poor quality. The scanning speed is ok, but no OCR on each document, seemed to take forever before you can use the scanned image.

The software seems poorly written andPerhaps a version 1.0 or something similar. Was not even seem to be well-thought interface. It ended with causing more work for each document filed paper documents. (Perhaps the Windows software is better.)

When I opened this product it seemed really nice and looks forward to the digitization of many of my … never mind early scan, however, I noticed little white lines to analyze the documents and the software forever in an attempt to take and convert documents to PDF … My HP scanner is almost instantaneous. What was the worst thing is the program … They say it was for Mac OS X crashes, but the software is not just for all the time, but written reasonsThe entire computer to freeze, too … Many, many paper jams, poor layout and organization to the presentation "documents" and the BIG ONE …. Many of the texts on my documents are dark gray and light gray, these scanners and the software easily and completely cut out and make them disappear … useless ….. They could snatch that information and use it against you, whether for kicks or to extort money from you. Worse, they could sell the information to your company’s competitors and leave you in hot water with your business partners or your bosses. Or if you had your own personal private details saved there like your bank account number, credit card user names and passwords and the like, they could snatch those details and start using your accounts without your knowledge. After you have taken your photographs with the help of your trusted digital camera, you now get the chance to upload your images onto your computer. This is where the photograph image format comes into play. You get the chance to format and edit your images to your specifications. This wasn’t always the case because with the older film cameras you only had the option of using color positives, color negatives, black and white negatives and black and white positives. This was the only kind of photograph image format that you could use and save as.

Nowadays you have more options and a variety of editing you can do with the photograph image format. When you use your digital camera you get to save your images in bits and bytes. These images are usually stored in the form of RAW photograph image format which however will take a lot more space than if you decide to store them in JPEG format. This format often compresses your image but you may lose some data which was valuable.

What you will need to do is to buy another memory card and then quickly move your data into the PC, MAC or laptop that you have and you can just as easily then store in a DVD or CD for storage. This way you get to keep your work in RAW image which is easier to edit with whatever photograph software you may have. Make sure you save your work as RAW photograph image because even though they are bigger and take more space they are the easiest to work with and edit.
